  1. Wow!.. I wouldn't know where to begin with this kit!.. It is so super loaded...

What is challenging to me when scrapping is making sure the page by page matches and that it's not mismatched.. (colors and such..)

  2. Looks like fun!!! Throw my name in the pot, though the odds of me winning not so good this time! But what the hey! Great idea Steff!

  4. Just watched your video and left a comment. This is so much FUN!!!
What's challenging for me is keeping myself from getting too "strange". I have a tendency to like really out of the ordinary art. Sometimes my tastes are not very similar to others so I have to be careful. I don't want to be sending folks items that they wont use or enjoy.
    Thanks for stimulating my mind.
I JUST LOVE YOUR BLOG STEPH!!!

  6. Steph, I'm with you... (I have lots of challenges) but if I had to narrow it down, it would be...when dealing with really pretty or really busy paper, I don't know what to do with the page. ugh...
As I mentioned on my comments on your YouTube video comments... I LOVE, LOVE purple. What a great challenge. You go Girl...

  10. Awesome challenge!! Love the colors!

My most challenging thing is a bad memory. I think of all these great layouts and ideas when I out and about. Then when I have time to scrap I can't remember any of them. I guess I should start writing them down LOL!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. What an awesome kit Steph! Toss my name in the pot for this.....I would gladly accept your challenge and also pass it on! Thanks for the inspiration!!!

  12. Oh, I love it! I cannot remember if I already comment on the other one or not. The hardest challenge for is using up scraps without being scimpy either.

  13. Whoa, Steff! Love this challenge! Purple and green!! AWESOME!! Throw my name in that bowl :D Love that ornament chipboard. My biggest challenge is layout and trying not to repeat myself!!! Will have to get some hints from some other gals to pass on the challenge. Have plenty of goodies to pass on!! Sharon :D

  14. Just wanted to comment that the kit that you put together is just beautiful! I wouldn't have thought of that color combination. So beautiful! Sometimes I have a hard time starting, but I get inspiration from awesome scrappers like you.

  15. What a great twist you put on Christmas! Such lovely embellishments. Super kit. What challenges me? Right from the get-go, just picking the photos. Then I always want to color-correct/adjust in Photoshop. Takes me forever. Needless to say, I have a lot of blank minis! Thanks for the chance to win!

  16. Hi Steff :) this is a fun challenge! Ok what im challenged most is choosing colors to go with my project. Thanks for the chance! :)

  17. Hi Steff! What a great challenge kit you put together! Hmmmm let's see the most challenging thing for me when scrapping is covering up the beautiful patterned papers and choosing which photos to use! I'm working on an album tonight and having the hardest time choosing, I just want to use them all!

  18. Steff,
Great post. I love the kit you put together. My biggest challenge is: Having restrictions and having scrappers block!!!!! Some times it just happens!!!
    Love it.

  20. I love all of your minis and really love this kit! My biggest challenge is letting go of my regimented day-job mentality and give in to my creative side. I always worry about how things will look, to the point I talk myself out of doing some really creative things. Papercrafting is slowly making that transition easier...but it's still a challenge.

  21. Hi Steph,
You got to be one of the sweetest ladies in the world of crafts. And you are very generous. My biggest challange is using up the beautiful papers, and trying not to over embellish this should be difficult 'cause this kit is loaded. I hope I win!

  22. Hey Steph!
I think the biggest challenge I have is pearing down all my ideas! If I put everything into every album, I'd never get them done!!! Thanks for the challenge :)

  23. Hi Steph,
I have been subscribed to your YouTube Video's and love watching them. Your blog is really great...I love all of your work...I am currently obsessed with mini-albums...not sure if its a phase or here to stay...lol...I think my biggest challenge when creating is to walk away from a project before I am finished...I get so engrossed in the project and never seem to have enough time to sit and finish it...definately my biggest challenge!

  37. Hey Steph! What a beautiful kit! I LOVE purple & green...two of my favorite colors! I just love your videos, you are one of the sweetest ladies!

One of my biggest challenges is covering up my pretty papers.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Gorgeous kit!! Green is one of my fave colors! Something that challenges me when I am scrapping is knowing when to stop! LOL I will just keep adding pictures and embellies and soon it's a big cluttered mess... So my challenge is so try the whole less is more concept! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  39. What a cute kit!! I think my biggest challenge is second guessing myself. My husband is constantly saying yes, that looks great, and then I ma fine to go for it. But, doing without that confirmation that I was right and it looks nice, is hard for me.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Wow! This is an awesome kit. These colors I wouldn't have picked on my own but seeing them together I love them.
My biggest challenge is picking out papers and all the coordinating embellies ! That's why this kit is perfect!

  41. Hi Steff :)
I really like your cmas challenge kit. I have never participated in a challenge. Looks like fun!
My "biggest" challenge is to use items, (papers, stickers, most anything) the way that they are originally. I am presently working on a halloween mini, and it is taking me days to get the papers and cut outs colored, glittered, and glossied (lol) and ready to use in my actual album!! I can even frustrate myself sometimes! But I hope for the end result to be worth it all!! scrappy luv! Julie (raggedydoodles@simflex.com)

  42. WOOOW so fun idea!! a challenge!! so great!
    You're awesome Steph!!

Mi biggest challenge in scrap is making something different in my mini, because i dont' want to make all time the same thing... so I visit many blogs in order to find new ideas.. and your blog are the best inspiration for me!

This week i'm working on a new mini, in a style shabby chic.. so i try something different and it's not so easy!!

  44. Hi Stephanie! First off I have to say I have challenges of typing as we all know :) and then I try to fix the type errors and delete the whole entry!! Oh dear! LOL! Or cry out loud!

Thank you for your generous heart! What an awesome and Creative challenge this is. My wheels are turning already. Thank you for touching so many lives!

My greatest challenge sounds crazy, but this is the truth--- it is TIME! I have so much I want to do, and ya just can't use coupons to buy packages of time at the store! Does anyone have any extra time they could give me?

Thanks for the chance for this challenge- with all your fans, my chance of winning is slim, but I still had to add my comment cuz I LUV YA!

  46. What a great challenge you are giving away. The most challenging thing for me is finding the right paper to make my picture pop on the page or lay out.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hi Steph. I would say the most challening thing for me is making the picture the center focus. They seem to always be in the pockets because embellishments and the paper takes the main focus lol I am working on that. Love all your videos. You are so fun to watch.

  48. Wow Stephanie, what a great give away and what a fun idea to pass on the challange. If i win i am certainly going to do that. You asked what challenges me? Uhm... i challenge myself to do things i don't normaly do or use. It's a lot of fun and this way i know what i like and don't like.

Also want to say, i love your video's they always make me happy because you are so enthousiastic!

  49. What a great idea! Fun post. Your blog is always fun to look at though! My favorite color is purple.

My biggest challenge is not making things all neat and pretty. I need to challenge myself to add more layers and depth.

  52. Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for the opportunity to hopefully win this fantastic givewawy.
My biggest challenge is not knowing where to start....I love it all and have a hard time creating a mini album because I want to overload it with cardstock, ribbons, fibers, inks, pictures, tags etc. etc.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow, love your creativity and how sweet of you to offer such a wonderful give a way. Hope I win. I love love love you work.

  54. Hi Steph, I saw your post over at the scrap beach and had to come look. That kit looks so loaded and amazing!!!!! Very generous of you :)

What I find the most challenging about mini albums is knowing when I have added enough elements to a page or tag OR knowing when I haven't added enough!! My head is full of ideas but I find it so hard to break them down into steps and do one at a time!! It can get very frustrating and I end up with more than one project on the go at any one time hee hee!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hi Steph LOVE LOVE the kit and that its not your ordinary holiday album!! My biggest challenge when doing a mini is keeping them for myself when I am done I always end up giving them away!!! That is why I started swaping!!! It just seems natural.

  56. Great Kit! Way to "Pay (Scrap) it forward".

    ReplyDelete
  57. This kit is gorgeous!

The hardest thing for me is to cut into paper. "The first cut is the deepest..."

    ReplyDelete
  58. This kit is AMAZING!!!! Wow!!!!

What challenges me most with scrapping is stepping outside my comfort zone and trying new things rather than super simple layouts.

  61. my challenge is coming up with lovely color combonations like this one, Steph!! It's gorgeous! My favorite color combo in the 80s was augergine and chartreuse (it WAS the 80s ;) I LOVED wearing these colors together yet I never would have thought to lighten them up for a mini!! Beautiful!!

  67. FOR:KraftyKatsy has made a comment on Mini Album CHALLENGE KIT **GIVEAWAY**:

    Hi Steph :)
I LOVE the shape of the chipboard covers. Its really nice. That bow ribbon you got IS verrry pretty. Working on my very first card tonight. I can't find ANY chipboard mini albums here where i live. The most challenging thing for me is learning how to use all the tools n techniques, as you know I'm still very new to scrapping ( 2 or 3 weeks now ) The other challenging thing would be winning this great kit LOL Thanks for the chance to. :)

  68. Hi!

I love the kit, just came acrossed your video's
what challenges me is using a couple of differant pattern papers on one layout.

  69. Wow! Great color combo... very inspiring! My biggest challenge is finishing an album! I have so many ideas at once sometimes that I have trouble focusing on one album. This would be a great challenge because it has a built in theme and I would certainly want to finish it to show what it became!

  70. What a fabulous looking kit! I subscribe to your site through google reader and I have to thank (or blame LOL) you for introducing me to Craft Craving Chicas. I have ordered my first kit from them and am so looking forward to it. My biggest scrapbooking problem is just getting started. That blank page just intimidates me and I have trouble deciding how to focus my project. Even once I start I am a ridiculously slow scrapper.

    ReplyDelete
  71. That is an amazing kit!! My biggest scrapbooking challenge is that lately all I do is collect supplies and dont use them! Everything is just so pretty that I hate cutting it up lol.

    ReplyDelete
  72. wow this is an amazing mini kit. I have been wacthing alot of videos on how to do them this will be a nice start.
The most challangeing thing for me is adding to many items to my projects LO's or cards never done a mini before but very much want to get started on one.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I am completely amazed by you and your talents. Geeze... my biggest challenge is figuring out how to layer so many pieces and make it look "busy" without looking cluttered. I love the layered look. I'd love a chance to win this!!!

  74. Stunning work! I would have a blast with this kit! My Mom's favorite colors are those, so I think though it would be challenging, it would be a gift for her, so I'd make it amazing for her! Lovely work! I would have to say the most challenging for me would be keeping my albums sealed tight for longer lasting. Does everyone seal them with mod podge or something else? The ones on your videos are perfect!!!!

  75. Wow! Steff you have captured my favorite colors in this Challenge!!!Thank you so much for your generosity this kit you put together is fabulous..I would love to win this one!!! Good luck to everyone one!! I can't wait to see who is gonna be TRULY the very lucky winner of such a beautiful Kit! HUGS Rosanne

  76. oh my gosh what a great challenge i love it good luck to everyone

  77. What an awesome kit!! You are so generous! Ok so the colors are not at all weird to me! I live in CA and my xmas tree is ALWAYS done in purples/lavendars and greens!! Everyone thinks I do it for the Lakers (ha!) but I do it because I just love purple!!!

Ok so what is challenging to me is once I have a page laid out in my mini books I tend to over think my design and second guess my choices, moving it all around, and then ending up with the first design before I actually adhere it all and move on to the next page.

I love the idea of passing on a challenge! what a fun concept!

    Thanks for the chance!

  78. Purple and green - love it! I too cringe at covering up gorgeous papers (especially knowing a tree was hacked to create them)...I also have a HUGE problem sometimes getting the ball rolling creatively...then watch out! It's like my supplies blew up! I also find it hard sometimes to "let go"...sometimes less is more and I forget that sometimes!
    Good question, Steph!

  79. Just beautiful! You picked some GREAT colors & textures!

  80. The colours in this set are just awesome and work so well together. Erm... So what I find challeging is trying to restrain myself from making to big of a project out of it. It'll just become so huge and never get finished otherwise. Also I'm from the UK and have just found your videos, they're so good! So I guess I'll leave my email address : cloclopops11@hotmail.co.uk

  81. What a great idea! Hmm...what challenges me most is to incorporate pictures in my minis. I love doing the books but when they're finished I lose interest and don't add pictures.

  82. Nice blog! Very elegant...

I'm new to scrappin, so what challenges me the most is looking at a blank piece of 12x12 and making it into something beautiful. I never know where to begin, or what I'm going to do with that piece of paper. It's hard for me to come up with the beautiful designs I see from everyone else.

    I'm a follower. Please visit/follow my blog: http://etched-in-memory.blogspot.com. I'm giving away blog candy when I reach 50, 100, 150, and 200 members.

  84. Wow! Awesome! My challenge has always been... How do I tell the WHOLE story, and still sound like a positive person, and not a negative nellie. I don't want our family story to sound untrue, by leaving out the challenges.

  85. Let's see where to begin, probably my biggest challenge is liking what I've done to a page..thank goodness for UN-DO! Lol.
