  23. Love your pics. I lived in San Fran years ago, LOVE Ghirardelli's. Best Sourdough bread on the planet out there. As for my scrappy happy life...my favorite time to scrap is when everyone is in bed and I feel like I am alone. I don't have a scrappy table because my living room is overflowing and completely taken over with all my boxes, crates, folders, paints, glues, books, embellie's, you name it. I am currently working on making Dos-A-Dos books out of PopTart boxes for a fundraiser for my daughters Irish Dance school. I have also been making scrap journals out of gift bags. Her school has a Feis (FESH) which is Gaelic for competition, coming up. So I am making stuff to raffle, and fundraise. Is it too soon to think St. Paddy's Day?? LOL. So I would love to win some stuff to help make more cool stuff for my dd's Irish dance school. Thanks for the opportunity. Good Luck to all. Have a Happy Scrappy Time Crafting!!!!
    Blessings,
    Kimie<3

My scrap room is actually our guest bedroom so have to clean up if we have company!!@#$#@%#@ Can't talk my hubby into adding on to the house for some reason. I make albums for Make a Wish kids. Just finished London and am now working on a gal who went to DC. It's a great way to "see" the sights! Love to see all your beautiful work.

  26. What a summer! Here in Montreal it has been so hot and humid and even tomorrow it is going to be 29C with a humidex factor of 34C. In September??? Since I didn't want to melt in the sun I spent so much time in my scrapping corner.

Did mini albums, bought so many new paper collections and did my regular 12X12. I found a great new craft knife by Ingvild Bolme (Prima) but am still looking for a great trimmer. I have a guillotine but it is too big when I want to cut smaller items. I think my scrapbooking has become an obsession but surely a passion.

    ReplyDelete
  27. phew! I'll just be happy to get rid of the record 90 degree weather with like 300% humidity here in NY. My hair is getting bigger by the day.

I've been busy with my 3 kids all summer - I'd make a great chauffer!! I've also been making mini books with friends and sharing our projects with each other - I have the BEST family and friends!!

  36. Hi Steff!!! Love your blog soooo much!!! Watching your videos is like a college education in scrap-crafting for me! Since I had a hip replaced last Spring and my husband is recovering from emergency eye surgery, my scrappyness has really been lacking. Right now, I'm already knitting a wedding shawl for our youngest daughter, putting together a wedding album, altering a letter "D" for a best friend, finishing a prayer shawl for church, and my mind is full of things I want to make for Christmas gifts! Keep grinnin' and I'll keep watchin'! Thank you for such a neat opportunity! BLESSINGS ON'YA!!! patti

  81. Looks like you went to a lot of fun places this summer. Your a great photographer. Let's see...a random fact about me. I am addicted to art! I dream about it before I fall asleep at night and I think about it all day! I am looking at inspiration on the internet when I should be folding laundry or making dinner. Sounds kinda like love doesn't it?

  85. Summer seemed to go to fast for us this year, maybe it's because my five year old would be starting Kindergarten this year. Your summer photos look awesome! I'm looking forward to fall! For the nice crisp air in the morning! My scrapdesk is a mess, but I am blessed beyond words to have all the yummy supplies I could ever dream of.
    Good luck to all!

  87. I am working on a album of my parents. My Dad is gone and my Mother who I have cared for for the last 4 years had a stroke on her right side and nothing moves so to the care center she said she wanted to go. Think she thought it would be to much for me but would rather have her here and caring for her still. Anyway, want to get that done for her to enjoy. So I would love to see heritage pages done (I am working on a 12x12)
Seen your pictures and we was over the weekend at the Como Zoo in MN and had so much family fun. I think my favorite was the seals and the penguins, loved to watch them. Then finally got to see Mall of America and really was not that impressed with it but didn't get to stay long enough to find out.
Anyway would love to see heritage pages or just scrapbook pages 2 page spreads if possible.
    angel hugs

  88. What's on my scrappy table? At least 3 different projects that I've started and then put aside to work on something different. 1, A Steampunk Debutante album I'm making for a niece that's getting married. 2. An envelope mini album started by following Kathy Orta's YouTube tutorial. 3. A halloween mini paper bag album. My favorite product? Anything by Graphic 45! When do I scrap? Whenever I can fit some time into my weird schedule (I work nights).

  89. Hello Steph, well on my scrappy table i have some christmas milk carton gift boxes i am making and i half finished envelope mini album using the prima moulen rouge (hope i spelt it right LOL). My favourite product is my scotch quick dry adhesive and anything Prima. And i mainly scrap when my two little monkeys are tucked up in bed in the evening and my hubby is on a night shift.

  90. I'm sad to see summer end, but also glad to get back into a routine with my boys. My scrap table is a mess right now as I'm getting ready for a crop. But no doubt there also seems to be a cup of leftover coffee or two sitting on my desk. I like different ideas for pockets to include in mini albums. Can't wait to see your next project.

  93. Where do I start? What's on my scrappy table, pieces of G45 Ladies Diary paper, I just finished a tag swap. There is also glimmer mist, distress ink, IAR flowers, bling, dies, glue gun, heat gun, and other miscellaneous items. Needless to say my table is FULL. My new favorite thing is TH glassine paper, I took a class at my local scrapbook store and made some tags using this paper. I would love to see a mini album tutorial or a completed mini, I just love your mini's. I scrapbook/craft whenever I can, on the weekends, in the evenings, I take my 2 yorkies and my doxie with me to my scraproom. Put them in their doggie beds and craft away. I come out for food and to let the dogs out to go potty;) and to let my husband know I'm still alive!!!

Thank you for the motivation and inspiration!!

I just watched your You Tube video on the paper bag mini. The video was great! Your creativity is inspiring! Your energy is enchanting. THANK YOU so much for the inspiration! I just wrapped up a baby album for my co-worker who had a little girl. My challenge to myself was to use new techniques. I loved the way the album came out and so did she! Next up, I'm thinking I'm going to try a mini and also learn to use my Cinch machine. Hope you have a happy fall! Thanks for sharing your awesome pictures with us!
