"Special" Binder Book Project featuring Prima's Rondelle Collection

Hi everyone, I'm excited to share a fun and easy to make binder book called "Special" using the Rondelle Collection! 

With the holidays just around the corner, it's time for me to start creating my holiday gifts for special friends! This year I'm creating simple to make, yet gorgeous, 6x6 binder books with lots of inside pages to hold photos, handwritten notes, whatever my scrappy friends choose! And the Rondelle Collection with all those gorgeous flowers and bold prints is perfect for this project!

Here's some simple steps I used to create a 6x6 binder book:

- Cut two (2) 6 x 6 black chipboard pieces for your front and back covers and hole punch for 3 ring binder.

- Cut twelve (12) sheets of manila cardstock into 6 x 6 sheets and hole punch for 3 ring binder.

- Gather beautiful prints you love and coordinating embellishments: metal trinkets, FLOWERS (all sizes), wooden buttons/tickets, ribbon, more flowers, etc.

- Gather tools: sharp exacto, scissors, Beacon Adhesive, crop-a-dile, cutting mat, inks, paper trimmer, border punches, etc. 

- Next, GET BUSY! Grab a beautiful print that draws your eye and  and put it down on the chipboard cover page. Do you like how it looks? Keep going! Start embellishing your cover. Add a title, trinkets! Have fun.. play with the design. You can do it. Just glue and do it! 

- And the MOST important thing to remember: There's no right or wrong way to scrap! Enjoy the process, relax and have fun with it! You'll see..

Here's some photo's of the "Special Gift" Binder Book I created. I love how simple and fast this project was to create! Keeping the inside pages simple yet filled with patterned paper enables the recipient lots of fun opportunities to add their own special touch to the book!
